During the day on Thursday 29th of September, members of the Irish Defence Forces will be showing that they have ‘big hearts’ by supporting Croí this World Heart Day. Off-duty soldiers from Renmore Barracks will ‘man the buckets’ in aid of Croí at the Galway Shopping Centre as part of the annual ‘Croí Parkathon’. The Irish Soldiers have offered up their free time to lend their support to the fight against heart disease and stroke. From 10am – 6pm on Thursday, members of the public can make a donation to Croí in lieu of otherwise free parking.
