With almost €2000 raised in aid of the GALWAY RAPE CRISIS CENTRE through the bring and buy book sale in Galway Shopping Centre earlier this month, a two day follow up event will be held on the 27th & 28th August.  Many people remarked on the incredible quality and large number of books that were kindly donated by both private people and business throughout Galway, including Dubray, Easons and Charlie Byrnes. 
 
Once again, books, CD's, DVD's, videos and small art works will be sold, so come and have a rummage, you never know what you might find! Donations from the public are welcome especially children’s books and DVDs. 

If you would like to donate books, CDs, DVDs videos and other items, please don’t hesitate to drop them into the Rape Crisis Centre offices in Westside or the Claddagh. Items can also be dropped into The Galway Shopping Centre during the two days only. Contact Glyn on 0852462959 for more information.

Speaking about the event, Dawn O'Connor form the Galway Rape Crisis Centre said, "A huge thank you to anyone that has already donated items to our previous sales, once again it is a fantastic to see how the power of the individual can make such a difference. A special thank you to the Galway Shopping Centre and Kelly's Bar for enabling us to hold our previous Bring and Buy sales on their premises, your support has been greatly appreciated and the monies raised continue to make a difference."
